Do you know someone who has two different colored eyes? Have you ever wished you were born with the beautiful abnormality officially known as heterochromia irides? This irregularity can be caused by one of several factors, but can also be very easily reproduced by wearing non prescription color contacts. Fairly rare in humans, this condition of having diverse amounts of melanin in the irises is not something you usually see every day. There are a few celebrities who naturally display two different eye colors, including musician David Bowie, actresses Jane Seymour and Kate Bosworth and actors Christopher Walker and Dan Aykroyd. If you are in the same boat as these celebs and don’t want to show off your abnormality, chose a colored contact that matches your favorite eye color of the two to cover up your least favorite eye. If you were born with two of the same colored eyes but really want to turn heads, try choosing colored contacts that are different from your natural color and wear only one!
